Первый в мире мобильный телефон, оснащенный карманным проектором После стольких слухов о скором появлении на рынке экземпляров мобильных телефонов, оснащенных миниатюрными карманными проекторами, первый полноценный телефон со встроенным проекционным устройством наконец-то увидел свет. Родиной этой диковинки, как и ожидалось, стал Китай. Местный производитель Cking не только разработал, но даже уже успел продемонстрировать широкой общественности свою новинку. Телефон, оснащенный сенсорным дисплеем в верхней части корпуса, снизу представляет собой проектор. Cking Projector Cellphone мобильный телефон со встроенным проектором Диагональ демонстрируемой им картинки составила 30 дюймов, а разрешение, в котором демонстрируется изображение - 640 x 480 (VGA). Аккумулятор телефона позволит мобильнику демонстрировать до 2 часов видео, что вполне достаточно для показа фильма средней длительности. Остальные подробности релиза этой любопытнейшей новинки пока окутаны туманом. Модель под названием XOXO или XO-2 представляет собой устройство размером с печатную книгу, оборудованное двумя сенсорными дисплеями, на один из которых может выводиться клавиатура. Дисплей одинаково читабелен и на улице в солнечную погоду, и в помещении. Двойной сенсорный дисплей позволит использовать устройство и в качестве электронной книги. В вертикальном положении он имитирует левую и правую страницу. Новый ноутбук в 2 раза меньше оригинала OLPC XO и в 10 раз экономичнее — вместо 20-40 Вт она потребляет всего 2-4 Вт. AMPING YOUR PHOTOS Q: How do I edit photos? Can I edit photos on my machine? A: First, click the Upload button to upload the photos to Photoshop Express. Then select them in My Photos, and get busy. Photoshop Express is not an application on your computer so you can use it anywhere. If you want a copy of a photo on your computer, run your mouse over the photo to reveal the options menu at the bottom right. Open the menu and select Download, once you’re done editing. Q: What do the various photo editing features do? A: Here are some specifics: Crop & Rotate—Turn it, straighten it, crop out the background. Auto Correct—Automatic, one-click, optimal lighting and contrast adjustment. Exposure—Change the brightness of the photo. Red-Eye Removal—Removes red eyes caused by some camera flashes. Touchup—Remove scratches and other imperfections. Saturation—Ramp up the colors to blinding brightness, dampen them down to black and white, or anywhere in between. White Balance—Ever notice how people look different inside an office with the ugly fluorescent tubes, as opposed to outside on a bright sunny day? Adjust the white balance and you change the type of lighting in the photo. Highlight—The brightest parts of a photo are the highlights. This control lets you brighten or darken just the brightest part of the photo, without affecting the darker parts (we call those the shadows). Fill Light—If you take a shot facing into the sun, your subject can end up too dark due to the camera’s automatic exposure adjustment. Fill Light brightens the dark area without overbrightening the background. Sharpen—It’s like putting in your contacts. Suddenly everything comes more into focus. Soft Focus—It’s like taking your contacts out. Soft Focus creates a subtle blur for artistic effect. Hue—This one changes all the colors in a photo at once. Black & White—Control how the colors are converted when you change a photo to black and white. Tint—Imagine instead of black and white, you want red and white, or pale brown and white for that old Western look. Sketch—Makes any photo look like you drew it yourself. Distort—Stretch, twist, bulge specific areas of your photos. Q: What are some tips for making my photos better? A: Try out things like Auto Correct, Exposure, White Balance, Highlight, or Fill Light. You can even add multiple effects if you want, and if it doesn't turn out right, you can always undo the changes later. Q: How do I fix red eyes? A: Click Red-Eye Removal, then click each eye in the photo that needs fixing. Q: How to I rotate and crop the photo? A: Click Crop & Rotate. Then drag the little boxes at the corners of the grid—everything inside the grid will be in the final photo. To straighten you can drag outside the corner boxes when the cursor changes to the curvy line with arrows, or just drag the Straighten control at the top of the window. The two buttons left of that will rotate the photo left or right. Q: How can I highlight a single color in a photo? A: Click Pop Color. Then click something in the photo that has the color you want to pop. You can then change that color by clicking the preview strip right above the photo. If you want to turn all the other colors in the photo into black-and-white, uncheck the "Show All Colors" option.
